We are all in a muddle, running hither and thither in the last few days before Christmas, aside from the fifty some dinosaur cupcakes that are scheduled to make an appearance for a certain second birthday, there is just so much to do! But come Christmas Eve I like everything to be set and it’s time to purely enjoy the moment.
One of my favourite traditions is to curl up in a chair with my needle and thread strings of cranberries and popcorn to adorn the tree. Our tree goes up early in December so a little new decoration really brings back the magic of when it first went up.
Owing to sharp objects this isn’t a craft for the little ones but watching their little faces as they snaffle a sweet treat or sour berry adds a lovely touch of whimsy to the proceedings. What Christmas Eve traditions do you hold dear?
