Gift buying is a tricky business, whether its lack of inspiration, price tag or time pressure. You think you’re finished then you get a little memo from Santa gently reminding you about the stockings. For me I find these little extras really stretch my budget, for my husband he just doesn’t know what to get. So here’s a few cost effective ideas to get you started…
Magic Flannel * Hair Bands/Grips * Lip Balm * Nail Varnish * Bath Toys * Fun Plasters
Book * Pen * Notebook * Colouring * Crayons * Seeds * Stickers * Printed Photographs * Playing Cards * Lavender Pillows * Sewing Kit
Socks * Gloves * Hat * Scarf * T-shirt * Headbands * Earrings * Bracelet
Mug * Tea Towels * Utensils * Chocolate * Hot Chocolate * Cupcake Mix * Speciality Tea * A Favourite Snack
Be sure to hit up shops like Primark, Wilko and Home Bargains. Supermarkets are great too and you can pop a couple of bits in with your weekly shop over the next two weeks. If you have a few people to buy for why not buy multipacks of things such as children’s books, socks or lip gloss and split them up to keep cost down.
Happy Shopping Elves!
