Hello lovely ones,
Happy Weekend! Apologies for the silence, aside from multiple lurgie-ridden trips to the doctors I have been feeling a little lost for words with everything going on in the world. After missing Monday’s pearl of wisdom for this reason I keep bringing to mind that wonderful little prologue from Love Actually.
‘Whenever I get gloomy with the state of the world, I think about the arrivals gate at Heathrow Airport. General opinion’s starting to make out that we live in a world of hatred and greed, but I don’t see that. It seems to me that love is everywhere. Often it’s not particularly dignified or newsworthy, but it’s always there – fathers and sons, mothers and daughters, husbands and wives, boyfriends, girlfriends, old friends. When the planes hit the Twin Towers, as far as I know, none of the phone calls from the people on board were messages of hate or revenge – they were all messages of love. If you look for it, I’ve got a sneaky feeling you’ll find that love actually is all around.’
To some it may be cheesy or over used but for me, love is what I wholeheartedly put my faith in everyday.
‘Love is invincible facing danger and death.
Passion laughs at the terrors of hell.
The fire of love stops at nothing,
it sweeps everything before it.
Flood waters can’t drown love,
torrents of rain can’t put it out.
Love can’t be bought, love can’t be sold,
it’s not to be found in the marketplace.’
Whilst being lost for words I have ironically been up to eyeballs in Written Word stationary, but tomorrow we are venturing out to our first Christmas Fayre come rain or snow! I wanted to share with you a little of what I have been creating…
Normal blogging service will return soon I promise, alongside an Etsy shop full of Written Word goodies. But for now,
LOVE in abundance to you all,
